a little about Sky 

Born 2002 in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, I am a thoughtful and proficient fine artist working in the fields of drawing, painting, ceramics, print, and in some cooperations between those. I find inspiration and intrigue in the relationship between the natural and the imagined, the organic world and the created world, or simulated world.  

I have lot of interest in referencing and thinking about ‘the animal’ in relationship to ‘the human’, and how we abstract each other just through our joined existence, and the history of the earth, archeology and natural history. 

i love making functional ware in ceramics and love ceramic studio environments, as well as most artistic studio environments, i love the earth, the beach, experiencing different biomes, and I love TV and movies. I love mass media, social constructions, reality tv, cartoons, going swimming, sitting on a bench and watching cars go by, trees, light and shadow, slime, my cats, my friends and their pets, and being a human, and making stuff. and cowboys and horses and the desert. and pigeons. and twin peaks and the X-files. 

I have a BFA in Fine Arts from Pratt Institute, and grew up in and live in Downtown Manhattan.
